Why am I here?? Why did I decide to join this blogosphere??
I am here because I want to share my love of writing and crocheting with anyone who will enjoy it.
Why are YOU here?
I would like to think you are here because I am funny and I crochet some nice things. Of course, you may have stumbled across this blog for a variety of different reasons. Share with me why you are here? Leave me a comment!
The focus of my blog is to share my love of erotic writing mixed with my love to crochet. My love of erotic and sexy things inspires my crochet a lot! My Love (that's what I call the wonderful man in my life) may suggest me wearing fishnets which in turn will cause me to crochet some and then I might think up a sexy story involving me, him and those fishnets. This is what can be expected on my blog. I do get asked a lot on my facebook page about if I offer my designs as patterns for other crocheters. I also plan on sharing patterns that I might use or write myself.
For this blog I want to post 3 times a week. One post will be sharing a crochet pattern/ project I am currently working on by posting directions, patterns and/or tutorials, another weekly post will be sharing an erotic story, and the third weekly post will be crochet inspiration.
Let me know what you (my lovely blog readers) would like to see here!!
SHINE ON!!
I like to do it in the bed, in the car, on the couch....I crochet everywhere!! I love to crochet and knit. I also love to write about sex. So I am a HOOKer (crocheter) by day and a sexy writer at night. I hope you will join me in my naughty little adventures with my balls...of yarn, of course *wink*

Day 5 of Crochet Business Blogging- Are you my idea customer?
I must admit I did think about this when I thought about blogging. I wanted to blog about things that I loved and that I knew about. Which turned out to be sex and crochet...hahaha!! I spent several years as a "couples enhancement specialist" (ie selling sex toys and lingerie) and I have written and shared some of my erotic stories, not only with other crocheters but with people who don't crochet too. So it is my idea that I can successfully mix the two since I do crochet some rather sexy things. I want my blog to be friendly enough for other crocheters to visit my blog, I will share patterns I have written and found with those readers and I want it to be fun and sexy for anyone who just might be looking for something different. This is my blog market. Now my actual customer (who may or may not read my blog, although I hope they do!) will be someone who is purchasing my crochet items either for them self of for a gift. She is a trendsetter. She likes to stand out in a crowd. She can be described as eccentric or eclectic.
Are you my customer?? If you are tell me a little about yourself!!
SHINE ON!!

Day 3 Blog Challenge- How will I Know??
Yeah I am playing catch up but I am not gonna give up!! For Day 3 of the Crochet Business Blogging Challenge is to list my objectives and how I will celebrate achieving them. Objectives are the proof that you have reached a goal. They are like little landmarks on the road towards your goal. I think for all of my goals that I listed in my Day 2 post the objectives are almost the same for all...
*I will have increased traffic to my website/blog....when I reach 10 visits per day I will celebrate by getting my nails done...YAY!!
*I will have blog interaction....when I have 5 comments in one week on my blog I will celebrate by taking myself to dinner...YAY!!
*I will have 5 sales per month between $50-$100 each....I will celebrate by buying myself a purse...YAY!! (I love purses by the way, LOL)
These are my objectives, since I only listed goals for the first 6 months of this year I will double my objects for the 2nd half of this year. Like I said...This year is gonna be great!!
Day 2 of 31 Days of Crochet Blogging-Where are you going?
When I think about what I would like to accomplish in my business this year...I get a bit overwhelmed. I find I have had this problem for probably the past 4 years. Not being able to sort everything out in my head has caused me to be somewhat stuck. Not this year!! I am determined to keep plucking through these 30 days and not give up even though I fell a few days behind! I know this year will be a great year for me and my crochet business!!
This is my list of things I WILL accomplish in the first 6 months of this year for my crochet business:
*Continuing to design crochet and knitwear- Writing, publishing and selling crochet and knit patterns.
*Self publish a crochet pattern booklet
*Create and implement a marketing strategy
*Post items for sale on websites that I currently have shops on, etsy, lish, ustrendy etc.
*Create a consistent online presence on social media, my blog and websites that I sell on.
YAY!! I have got some of the jumble of things out of my head!!

Crochet Your Own Thongs!!
Okay so after my thong history lesson I decided to crochet some thongs for myself and see how My Love likes them. I searched the internet and was surprised to see such a huge collection of different crochet thong patterns. I went ahead and decided to attempt to try making the basic shape without a pattern. It only took me about 30 minutes and this is what the finished product looked like.
I was pleased for the most part. Now I am ready to try one of those cute lacy crochet thong patterns. I found two different ones on Crochetology.net they have free instructions for a lacy tanga style thong and a sexy Brazilian style thong. These styles are for a more intermediate to advanced crocheter. If you are a beginner there are some thong patterns available for purchase. I found one on Craftsy.com by Popelka from Czech Republic (people crochet thongs all over the world!!) . There is also a huge variety on Etsy, but this one I found looks very easy (sexy crochet thong epattern) . For $5 why not give it a try, right??
So, I decided to give the one on Crochetology.net a whirl. It starts with an octagon motif pattern. Since I was using a larger hook than it calls for (I used a 2.75mm hook) and size 3 crochet thread, I made a hexagon motif. It looked like this when I finished.
I made four hexagons; three for the front and one for the back. I then connected the three front hexagons using single crochet stitch. Then to make the main body of the front and crotch section I attached yarn to bottom edge of first hexagon close to the center of the motif and single crocheted 34 sts. I then turned my work ch2 and double crocheted across, decreasing one sts at each end for 14 rows. I worked the remaining sts for 10 rows and connected my 4th hexagon motif to the end. I added 4 side ties and taaaahh dahhh!! I had a finished thong!!
I am sorry I am no expert at pattern writing but my hopes are to help inspire you and to improve on my pattern writing skills in the process. Thanks for reading!!
